I have received Your Lordship's Despatch, sanctioning the charge incurred;

in the transportation of 30 Convicts from Hongkong

My Despatch N. 21 of 1976.

February informed Your Lordship that the Indian Government had since objected to the Province of Sinde as a place of banishment - - for Chinese : I have just received the enclosed "Despatch from Calcutts, approving of the Straits Settlements as as,

- preferable place, and this was my own proposition to. Lord Stanley
